Daily Report — Fed up Bavarians, migrant sex assaults, and political instability in the 2020s

BAVARIA FED UP — The Bavarian government, fed up with Mother Merkel’s migrant policy, has devised a charter demanding that Chancellor Merkel and the Christian Democratic Union put a hard-limit on the amount of asylum seekers Germany will accept per year. The charter is titled “So that Germany remains Germany.”

SEXUAL ASSAULTS — An AfD (Alternative for Germany) request has revealed (German source) that of the 99 suspects identified as being involved in sexual offences in Hamburg, Germany in 2015, 44.5 per cent of them were not German citizens.

GTFO SALAFISTS — German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said in an interview with Der Spiegel that “Salafist mosques must be banned, communities dissolved, and the preachers should be expelled as soon as possible.”

SPEAKING OF SIGMAR GABRIEL — He said of the EU to Der Spiegel “it is no longer unthinkable that it breaks apart.”

HEAT IN BED — Five migrants are suspected to have set fire to a bed mattress at a migrant shelter in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. More than 50 people were injured by the blaze.

IT IS GOING TO HIT THE FAN — Researcher Peter Turchin, author of Ages of Discord, has claimed the 2020s will be a socially tumultuous time in the US. He cites “elite overproduction” (the abundance of political elites vying for power), popular commiseration (the decline of living standards) and the decline of the state’s fiscal health as the three main contributing factors to this predicted instability.
